Welcome Spring with Vaibbhavipinc

March 1, 2018

Hello Girls,

I have been real busy with last few months first the London trip , then the house shifting and what not 🙁
I will try to be regular henceforth. Meanwhile you can always check my daily updates on my Instagram link @reneethereborn.  Hope you are following me there , if not do it now 🙂
Spring is setting in and as you all know by now , that’s my most favourite season 😀 Lots of colors on my cards and to start with spring, here is my first look book with the Vaibbhavipinc designs.
Vaibbhavi P is an eponymous designer label based on the slow fashion philosophy. The designer explores the rich heritage of Indian textile treasures and translates them to contemporary fusion fashion lines. Her designs are for mindful and free-spirited individuals.
This collection is inspired from the most common Bougainvillea flowers with the most uncommon quality of utilising minimal resources, yet brightening up the barren landscape with its refreshing colours & foliage, translucent petals and mesmerizing simplicity. The silhouettes are minimalistic relaxed and easy fit, with details inspired from the Bougainvillea flower petals.
The bougainvillea collection incorporates the most exquisite mangalgiri cotton fabric sourced from local weavers. The fine fabric has this beautiful color play created by shot effect achieved by contrasting warp and weft yarns interwoven together.
So let me show you the four looks which I have created out of the collection..
This one is my most favourite of them all. The color , the design everything just appealed to me instantly. It’s a long dress with tonal fray detail in wave pattern on the bodice and  two patch pocket on the skirt. The playful petal detail on the pocket and shoulder accentuate the trendy look.
This one is a long dress with Keyhole on neckline . The petal sleeves details in yellow-green gives a refreshing welcome to the spring.

This one is a bright yellow dress with Peach accents in petal shaped , pin tucked side panels. The best part of this outfit is my favourite cold shoulders. To enhance the look the sleeves  also have quirky bow tie .

4. Bias Cut Peach Tunic

This bias cut peach tunic with V neckline comes with 3/4 length petal sleeve. The front overlapping draped panel creates curved high low hemline. You can carry this one for work or semi formal occasions. The color is bright and beautiful.
My Spring and Summer is always filled with lots of colors and these all were super addition to them. The outfits are totally comfortable and the fabric is totally apt for the season. This brand totally believes in Made in India initiative.  The fabrics to the end garment are made of Indian textile. The brand has recently featured in FeminaIndia magazine for their excellent philosophy.
So what are you picking up from them ?
